Hi, my name is Julian Ney but my friends call me Jay! I go by jayjay on the forum as it is a pet name I have aquired over the years.

I am 47 year old as of November, 6th 2007 and I have been playing guitar for about 29 years. I never learned much of other peoples music as I am of the "Don't re-invent the wheel" mindset. Yes, it is closeminded but hey no one is perfect!

I have many hobbies, cooking being one of them! I have always struggled with weigh issues and in college I tipped the scales at 320lbs. Yes, I broke furniture.
I have always been interested in electronics and enjoy tearing juck apart. When I learned to put the junk back together, I realized this is a good talent to have. I have been importing, installing, repairing woodworking machinery for 24 years after that revelation. I am now self employeed for the last 6 years and work at the most 60 days out of the year. Yes, I have a lot of free time to play music. In the past me and my sister had some inspirational websites that had over 3 million hits a month. This is how I learned the web, perl, mysql, etc..

I also enjoy Oil Painting, prospecting for gold, model building and flying, shooting. And if the activity involves drinking some Jack I am usually there! Cheers,
