BOSS BR 1600 CD

A marvel of technology. This 16 track Digital recorder from boss has everything you will need to make quality recordings at home. The unit comes with  8 XLR inputs with phantom power if needed and 8 1/4 inch all which can be recorded at the same time. Great for bands.

It comes with a 1/4 inch plug on the front of the unit for your guitar and 2 headphone outputs. With a 40 gig hard drive song space is spacious. Each track has 16 virtual tracks for greater bouncing flexibility.

This unit is a studio machine. It has a vocal tool box which helps to keep you in correct pitch and will do vocal harmonies. Some of the effects are derived from the GT-6B, and can be modified and saved. 

Once you get past the manual, boy is it huge, you will find that the knobs and controls are laid out in a natural progression. Well thought out. I separated my manual so each chapter was by itself. This really helped when first learning the unit. With it's mastering capabilities you will be cutting demos post haste. With the CD option you can burn your masters right to CD's. The BR1600 CD carries a $1300 dollar price tag and all I can say is it's worth every penny.
